Elizabeth L. Scott is an 18-year veteran of marketing, interactive media and communications. Prior to founding Raven New Media and Marketing, Elizabeth was Associate Vice President of Marketing and eBusiness for Norton Healthcare, a top 100 integrated healthcare system. She created their first Internet strategy and a national, award-winning ebusiness program. Elizabeth developed hybrid marketing roles and expanded marketing services to include social media, patient and business portals, ecommerce, interactive online health resources and customized online applications for consumer and patient transactions.
Elizabeth has a national reputation as an ebusiness and health care marketing strategist and is a featured speaker at internet, marketing and health care conferences as well as webinars. She has written industry articles on digital and marketing topics; discussing a fresh approach to hybrid marketing and practical technologies for business.
Over the years, Elizabeth has also worked with clients such as Janus Investments, the Portfolio Center, Sunglass Hut, Bluewater Consulting, Style Icon and UPS. She has directed large-scale interactive projects, trained international executives, built an interactive division for a regional ad agency and served as a national judge for health care advertising and web sites. Elizabeth has been a marketing and communications director, content strategist, senior project manager and director of methodology for an S&P 500 Internet consultancy. Over the years, her teams have won more than 43 national and regional awards for their work on large-scale web sites.
She was honored as a 2008 40 Under 40 leader, a 2008 Louisville Healthcare Fellow, and served as co-chair for two health care marketing conferences: the Healthcare Strategy Institute’s Fourteenth Annual Customer-Based Marketing Strategies conference and the First Annual Health Care New Media Marketing conference.
Elizabeth has an M.S. in Communications Management (Advertising Program) from the University of Tennessee where she was named by the faculty as Outstanding Masters Student for the College of Communications (1993-1994).
She is on the advisory board for Health Leaders Media, a member of SHSMD, IABC and the Society of Healthcare Strategists.
